Your Photographer

Hi!

I’m Ashley and I live on a farm in South West Oklahoma with my husband and our two children.  We are so excited to be expecting our third child in September! We love living in the country, riding our horses, and playing outside. Some funny thing about me… If you park your vehicle behind mine there is a good chance I will back into it. Ask my husband! I adore the TV series Castle and hardly ever miss it, and I am incredibly anal about the way my children’s toys are organized. Its weird but its me and I like being me =)

I am super passionate about my career, and it is no secret that newborns are my most favorite subject to photograph. I love all things children, which is why I am seeking my degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special Education.  This is the reason I have decided to specialize in newborn portraiture.

On the professional end of the spectrum, I am a self-taught natural light photographer with a colorful yet clean style. I love props, hats, and headbands!  I didn’t always know that I wanted to be a photographer, and I can’t say that I have had this passion my whole life. I received my very first DSLR camera for a wedding gift in 2007. It wasn’t until 2010 that I knew that this was the right path for me to take, and from then on I have been doing nothing but learning this wonderful trade as much as I can! I am truly thankful that God has blessed me with a beautiful talent and that I can use that talent to capture the most precious memories for each and every one of my clients. Each baby and family that comes into my studio holds a very special place in my heart.
