Why do I want to mentor? I want to mentor because every single person deserves a champion, and I want to be that person for you! You have just gained an amazing friend who wants you to know you are valued, seen, and heard. I am so excited to go on this amazing ride with you!

Why do I want you to choose me as your mentor? Because I see you. I was once you… working hard to build my dreams and my business. You deserve someone who will stand by your side, hold your hand, be invested in you, teach you, show you the tough love, be 100% transparent and honest with you, hand out praise and constructive criticism, laugh with you, cry with you, hug your neck, and cheer you to success throughout this wild ride. I can and will be that person for you. As a middle school teacher, I am extremally passionate about education. It’s why I have taken so much education myself. Not to copy the teachers before me, but to use the guidance I have been given and made my own to grow, help, and guide others. Every person learns in a different way. We are all unique in our learning styles, so I want to be unique in my teaching style.

I am completely transparent, and I have created my mentorships to give you tools to become successful. With dedication and hard work, we can create something amazing for you. I want you to find your spark, what sets your soul on fire, and to create a foundation for you to be sustainable and successful.

Shoot Along

Sometimes seeing the way someone else interacts and sees details can be very eye opening. During our shoot along mentorship, I will guide you through a styled session of your choice (Maternity, Motherhood, or Family) at sunset. We will meet for 2 hours prior to our session to go over the styling and vision behind the session, and anything else you would like to chat about.

Local to me? No worries! I am totally cool with mentoring photographers that are local to me.

Online Mentorship

Two hour online mentorship

Not local to me or can’t commit to traveling to Oklahoma just yet? I got you! Let’s hop on Zoom and talk about everything! Online mentorships begin with a questionnaire prior to our meeting. This will give me an idea of what you are seeking from our time together. We will have a two-hour video meeting to discuss anything you want individual attention on. Cameras, lenses, fun gear, editing, social media, business, branding, styling & client closet, location scouting. Online sessions will include website/portfolio review prior to our time together. The sky really is the limit and I’m an open book!

Newborn Mentorship

Newborn babies have had my heart since I became a photographer. I have a passion for these tiny humans and photographing them. I have been professionally trained in person and online by the industries best newborn photographers in newborn safety and posing. We will be using studio light as well as natural light (if needed), and we will cover the equipment and settings I use with my studio lights. You will learn how to safely pose newborns, refine, and perfect the poses. Newborn safety is my number one goal. IN. EVERY. SINGLE. SESSION.

I will cover soothing, transitioning, wrapping, beanbag poses, prop poses, parent poses, and prepping parents for their sessions.  I will teach you what camera settings I use to get a beautiful creamy photograph every time. I will go over my post processing flow, and what actions I use to make my processing super easy.  You are free to bring your laptop and edit alongside me. At the end of our mentorship, we will head to dinner and discuss anything you would like, business, editing, safety, and anything else that is on your heart. Come prepared with all your questions!
