Shootouts
Hi! I am so excited to be hosting these shootouts this year so we can come together as an amazing community. This is an incredible opportunity to enhance and elevate your portfolio with the freedom to just breath and create. we have to opportunity to come together to tonight inspiration from each other and learn new things. Educational shootouts give us all a chance to learn from and inspire each other to think outside of the box while hanging with like-minded creatives. I keep my shootouts small and intimate so that no-one ever feels left out, unseen, or unheard. I want everyone to have a voice and a vision.
These shootouts will be run in a way to allow everyone time to really focus on unique shots and details. I will explain all of my settings, how I am using the light, my interaction with clients, my interaction with a newborn, and how I choose to style each session. You will be able to create amazing images for your portfolio, learn new styles and techniques, leave with new friends, and feeling inspired to Chase Your Passion!

What you need
Please be sure to bring all necessary gear along with you. I will personally y be shooting with my Canon EOS R6 body, a 35mm and a 50mm lens. Wider lenses may be best for these shootouts. if you choose the newborn shootout you will need at least a 35mm or 24mm lens. It would be a good idea to bring along extra batteries and memory cards just in case! There will only be six of us for each shootout but I will allow time for everyone to take turns getting beautiful shots. Be prepared to really dive in and shoot. No standing in the background! For the Wichita Wild Life Refuge location please wear closed toed shoes and be animal and cactus aware because you never know what we will find in the Oklahoma mountains.
Styling
Models will be fully styled by me! Each shootout will have a different vibe and I will send everyone a mood board so you an be sure that this shootout vibes with your personal style and aesthetic. The newborn shootout with have a monochromatic earthy feel to it. If specific vendors are used I kindly ask that you tag them in your social media post.

Arrival
Each shoot out will have a specific start time that will be provided after booking. We will have a Q&A chat time before or after the shoot out depending on ice one is booked. If you are traveling from out of state and need accommodations please reach out and I can help you with that!
Things to Remember
Reminder… these shootout while educational are not a mentorship or workshop. They are meant specially for enhancing your portfolio, learning a few tricks, and connecting with fellow photographers along the way. My goal is to cultivate meaningful relationships and friendships. Please be sure to be on time! The Refuge has very spotty cell service and we will not be able to wait for anyone who is late.
If you are searching for a more in-depth educational experience, I do offer in person and online mentorships. I would love to help you in becoming the best version of yourself.
My cell number will be provided to you upon booking your shootout. It is important to note this incase of weird weather (It’s Oklahoma ya’ll), an emergence, and to send location pins. I will try to be as accommodating as possible before rescheduling any shootouts. All shootout spots are nonrefundable, but you may sell your seat if you cannot attend.
